What my mind saw? (feel free to unpublish if does not seem/feel appropriate)
First second – words play def-eated. d.featured Da fii ted!
Second second – rational analysis Leafs are perenials. It’s part of the cycle for leafs to fall. Why the tears then?
Third second – emotional drawing - decreasing tone does indicate the defeating feeling
Fourth second – personal references I lived them words. I changed them words. Both leafs and tears.
Fifth second – observational: how powerful a leading word can be to set the tone of a poem. If I’d set an empowering word, the rest would change, from emotional inference to even meaning! Bewildered! Each falling leaf, a tear. Envisioning! Each falling leaf, a tear. Energized! Each falling leaf, a tear. Drained…Each falling leaf, a tear. In awe! Each falling leaf, a tear. Disappointed! Each falling leaf, a tear. Doubtful! Each falling leaf, a tear. Hopeful! Each falling leaf, a tear. Enthusiastic! Each falling leaf, a tear.
Starting with January this year I have enrolled on a Creative Writing course at Birkbeck University, London.
I will publish at least one short story or section of a larger piece a week, as I have to do this for school, but I might also share learning points from the course, bibliography, reviews on books I read depending if they are of any interest to you.
